We're absolutely in love with this guy. He's a very nice guy! So mellow and easy-going. He loves baths and his pacifier and snuggling. And tooting. But mostly he sleeps.
Our nurses have been amazing. They've made our time here really special. Still, we can't wait to finally be a family at home.
They had us deliver in the O.R. because of its proximity to the NICU. Jesse's sporting the scrubs pretty well. This was about 45 minutes before he was born.
About 10 minutes after Daniel was born. The nurses brought me this picture on Jesse's phone while I was being "fixed up."
Jesse made sure I was the first one to hold him.
Daddy.
Daniel outgrew this hat after a couple days.
He might have his daddy's nose, but this is a mommy face.
Auntie Annie and Auntie Sarah came for what they thought was a baby shower, but turned out to be a baby. They were amazingly wonderful and cleaned our house and washed all our baby clothes and cooked us dinners. So glad they could come.
Danny and Grandpa John.
He is just too precious! So glad that he is doing well and hope you get to go home soon!
ReplyDeleteAww he's so cute! I'm missing him a ton! Denali is desperate to see him too! Hurry up and get that boy out of NICU! :)
ReplyDeleteHe's beautiful, guys. Seriously, good work.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad the baby countdown-a-meter is still at the top of the page. I can barely wait 26 days for this other baby!
